The new Dimlux SMART BOX combines the features of the Fan/Aux Box with those of the Fan/Pump.

The Fan/Aux Box adds an extra layer of functionality to your Maxi Controller, automatically operating your ventilation, heating, humidification/dehumidification system based on information gathered from the Maxi Controller's sensing probes. Program your preferences using Quick Setup or for total control use Advanced Setup to exploit its full potential, then let the Maxi Controller take care of the rest.

When set up as FAN/PUMP BOX it allows you to manage OPTICLIMATE water-cooled units.

Maximum load for the three outputs is 15A. The controller is electronic and therefore silent in use (no buzzing). It individually manages temperature and humidity both during the day and at night. The temperature controller works via SmartLogic, this is an algorithm that ensures that the current temperature is actually the same as the set temperature.
But if that is not enough, it is possible to connect several FAN/AUX boxes in series to distribute the load, connection via interlink cable

How the Dimlux Fan/Aux Box works:

The Dimlux Fan/Aux Box gives you full control over the functionality of the Maxi Controller. In addition to switching your heating and humidification system, full control of the fan settings is available. It is a simple plug-and-play system that ensures that the relative humidity and temperature in your growroom always remain within ideal limits. Simply plug the Aux Box + Fan into a power outlet and connect it to the Maxi Controller using the supplied cable. You can then connect the extractor fan, heater and humidifier or dehumidifier. The Maxi Controller will use the information gathered to switch on fans, heaters and humidifiers when needed.

There are a number of items that will help you improve the performance of your Dimlux Maxi Controller and Dimlux reflectors and ballasts, which include:

Infrared camera with 5m cable: measures the leaf surface temperature to get the most accurate and appropriate responses from the Dimlux OptiClimate system and ballasts

Temperature probe with 5m cable: ensures that when temperatures exceed the desired settings, the Dimlux reflectors dim or switch off

Humidity sensor with 5m cable: allows the OptiClimate system to take the humidity level in the grow room into account when adjusting the environmental conditions

CO2 sensor for Dimlux Maxi Controller provides accurate information about the carbon dioxide content in the grow area and can be used to power a CO2 controller.

CO2 sensor + Gas Protect for Maxi Controller Dimlux to switch on and off CO2 generating equipment, also has sensors for methane (CH4) and carbon monoxide (MH4).
