Captures CO2 from the outside air. No carbon footprint, no hassle.
Imagine being able to capture C02 in a circular manner, eliminating the need to use fossil CO2 by having to transport it through a pipe system.
State-of-the-art technology in a compact, easy-to-use, high-capacity product.
Optimised system
With a small footprint outside, you get a great result inside the greenhouse. Capture CO2 from the air, enhance circular agriculture and promote sustainable growth.
Convenient Low transport costs, no installation costs.
Easy to use Just plug it in, let Aurora do the work and keep track of it via the intuitive web interface.
Aurora is suitable for small vertical farms, container farms and in-store farms. It offers circular CO2 capture by eliminating the need for fossil CO2 generators, and CO2 storage and transport systems.
With a rotor diameter of 40 cm, Aurora can capture up to 5 kg of CO2 per day, making it ideal for farms up to 1,000 m².
IncreasingCO2 levels from 400 to 1000 PPM can significantly increase crop yields by up to 40 per cent. Today, almost all farms use CO2, but more than 90 per cent rely on stored fossil CO2 that needs to be replaced regularly.
This solution eliminates the need to transport and replace gas pipes, as the CO2 is captured directly from the air.
This also allows you to communicate to your customers that your products are grown using CO2 captured from the air, in line with virtuous farms that are striving to switch to circular and carbon-neutral practices.
Importance of CO2 in indoor agriculture
1.Essential for photosynthesis: CO2 is essential for the process of photosynthesis, during which plants convert CO2 and sunlight into sugars and oxygen. CO2 levels below 250 ppm can significantly impair plant growth.
2.Supplementation: in indoor cultivation, CO2 is used by the plants during the lighting phase. Therefore, CO2 needs to be replenished to maintain optimum levels between 800-1200 ppm, improving plant growth and increasing yields by up to 30%.
3. Pestcontrol: high CO2 concentrations can also act as a natural method of pest control, killing insects and fungi (these produce CO2 and it is toxic to them above a certain level) without harming plants
