The 39 mm Jiffy-7C is the practical and environmentally friendly solution for those who wish to germinate seeds or root cuttings with the utmost ease. Composed of a balanced mix of 70% coconut fibre and 30% peat, this expandable disc eliminates the need for bulky pots and soil in the early stages of growth.

Each disc is wrapped in a thin biodegradable net that contains the substrate and allows the roots to breathe and grow freely, avoiding the risk of spiralisation.

Method of use:

1. Soak the discs in water at room temperature (preferably pH 5.8) for about 5-10 minutes.
2. Thanks to the wetting agents included in the Jiffy formula, they will swell quickly and evenly (they will reach about 4 cm in height), squeeze them slightly if too wet.
3. Insert the seed or cutting into the central hole. For superior results, monitor the temperature of the rooting zone by keeping it between 20°C and 24°C.
