PUROLYT - CONCENTRATED DISINFECTANT | 500ml

Purolyt was developed specifically for gardeners, to keep greenhouses, garden tools, propagators, inert substrates as well as hydroponic systems and nutritional solutions free of unwanted microorganisms and biofilms.

The GAMECHANGER Purolyt opens up new possibilities for growing plants according to VPD tables, as you can grow in a clean environment even at high temperatures and humidity. Finally, the full potential of plant genetics can be exploited.

Application
For the disinfection of surfaces in greenhouses and agriculture, Purolyt can be used in the following processes:

• Spraying
• Cold spraying
• Wipe disinfection

Purolyt can be added directly for disinfection of water and nutrient solutions. Since pathogens such as bacteria, fungi and viruses spread through the water used for irrigation, the water must necessarily be clean and germ-free.

Important instructions for use

• Use the prepared dilution as soon as possible, but at the latest within 48 hours. Store in a tightly closed container and protect from UV radiation.
• Always use purified water (e.g. distilled water, deionised water or osmosis water) for spraying/misting. Commercially available pressure sprayers from a minimum of 3 bar are recommended.
• If plants are grown in artificial light, spraying/misting should be carried out shortly before or during the photoperiod, but always with the production lighting switched off.
• The production lighting must remain switched off for 20-30 minutes after spraying. To keep the plants in the photoperiod during this period, one 4 W LED per 3^m2 is sufficient.
• For outdoor use, it is advisable to choose only the morning or evening hours for spraying/nebulising in order to avoid direct sunlight/UV.

Fields of application
Preventive hygiene measures in plant cultivation reduce the pressure from infections, resulting in less use of pesticides and an increased chance of success in biological pest control.

Principle of action Purolyt

Purolyt uses an action principle similar to that of the human body to defeat bacteria and viruses: When the immune system detects a virus, white blood cells are activated. They produce hypochlorous acid (HOCI), which is also the active component of Purolyt. HOCI has been scientifically proven to have very powerful disinfectant properties.
