THE DIMLUX EXPERT MKII IS AN IMPROVED SERIES OF COMPLETE EQUIPMENT INCLUDING THE ULTRA OPTICS REFLECTOR.
The DimLux Expert Series MKII 1000W is equipped with the Philips MASTER GreenPower Xtra 1000w lamp, which provides the brightest light available at 2150 μmol / s. When paired with the included Ultra Optics 98 reflector, 98% Miro Silver reflective, the luminaire produces a whopping 2107 μmol / s at 1000 W PPF. This light has eight dimming levels, including an overdrive function that boosts PPF to 2528 μmol / s at 1200 W.
The Ultra Optics 98 reflector has been designed according to the Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle. This means that EACH photon will "bounce" only once with the reflector before heading towards your plants. Provides longer lamp life and cooler operating temperature. A 50 mm outlet above the hood allows air to passively rise above the appliance and can also be extracted with a vacuum cleaner. This leads to LOWER COOLING COSTS
Main features Dimlux Expert Series MKII 1000W DE EL DHF:
- Combined lamp, ballast and reflector
- Offers 10% higher yields than standard HPS lights
- The very high frequency operation of the ballast (140Khz) increases the light emitted by the bulb in the active photosynthetic spectrum
- It operates from a standard 230 volt household power supply
- Extremely high PAR levels (usable plant light)
- Very low operating temperatures
- Highly efficient, with extremely low heat output
- Ultra Optics 98 reflector for wonderfully uniform light diffusion
- Supplied with Philips MASTER GreenPower Xtra 1000W lamp
- PPF of 2,150 µmol / s
- Suitable for illuminating an area between 1.65 and 4 square meters according to the power and needs of the cultivated variety.
1 x 4.0m power cable

Safety and reliability:
The diagnostic LEDs present indicate if the ballast is on, in safety mode or if it has any malfunction. In the event of a malfunction, the LEDs will also indicate the nature of the same (for example a poorly executed wiring) Thanks to its processor, Dimlux continuously monitors the internal operating status and the quality of the connection between ballast and lamp. In the event of a loose cable or a short circuit, the ballast switches off immediately, preventing possible fire risks.
Traditional ballasts ignite the gases present inside the bulbs with electric shocks up to 5000V, greatly increasing the risk of overloads and fires. Thanks to the soft-start technology this does not happen with the Dimlux.
Constant light output:
Another important thing to take into consideration is that conventional magnetic ballasts vary their efficiency and therefore the light output based on the voltage of the power line to which they are connected. The same ballast can have a variation of light emission of up to 10% if mounted on lines with different voltages.
The Dimlux, on the other hand, automatically stabilizes the incoming current on a voltage of 230V, this guarantees a constant light emission regardless of the voltage of the power line to which it is connected.
Duration over the years::
As with other electronic ballasts, a great advantage of DIMLUX is that they do not lose efficiency over the years. An analog power supply over time tends to consume more and more and to make less and less. It is possible that with the passage of time the increase in the absorption of the analogue ballasts (even from 4 to 5 Ampere for a 600W ballast) could cause an overload of the electric line with possible fire risks. Dimlux keep their consumption constant by avoiding
any risk.
