The MW802 with a conductivity scale up to 6.0 mS/cm and a TDS scale up to 4000 ppm is ideal for measurements in agriculture. Soil and water pH can be too acidic or too basic and can have adverse effects on plant nutrients and the efficiency of fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides.
Soil conductivity is checked before fertiliser application to determine the need for fertiliser, and after fertilisation to determine its effectiveness.
The MW802 is supplied with the interchangeable MA850 probe for pH/Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solids measurements.
The pH electrode uses a fibre junction to reduce contamination when measuring fertiliser solutions.
The instrument manually calibrates pH, Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solids.
