BENTONITE is a hydrophilic clay of volcanic origin composed mainly of Silicon Oxide and Aluminium (fillosilicate), but also of numerous natural micronutrients. In agriculture, it has proven to be efficient for various uses. It is used as an adhesive, as a carrier for other products, but above all, due to its water-absorbing properties, BENTONITE creates an environment unsuitable for the development of many pathogens
CHARACTERISTICS The minerals sprayed on the leaves create an obstacle to the development of insects and cryptogams. Indispensable for the preparation of trunk paste Bentonite is a natural clay of volcanic origin composed mainly of montmorillonite silicate (hydrated silicate of aluminium, magnesium calcium and sodium) The characteristic feature of this type of bentonite is its ability to to create a molecular bond with water, incorporating it, retaining it and becoming, with it, a sort of waterproofing gel that mechanically counteracts the onset of cryptogamic diseases and the displacement of phytophages.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF USE It is used in protective treatments at a dose of 700 g/100 litres of water and in association with 350 g of Sulphur for the preparation of the NAB mixture (biodynamic agriculture). Excellent use in the dose of 500 gr/100 lt of water + 200 gr of copper sulphate, as it creates hostile conditions for the development of cryptogams
