CANNA Start is a mono-nutrient specifically developed for newly hatched plants or cuttings (already rooted). CANNA Start can be used on substrates such as CANNA Seed Mix, rockwool cubes, coconut fibre rods, peat jiffy, and with most propagation systems with the exception of continuous recirculation and cloning machines.
Propagation plants are systems by which plants can be cloned. CANNA Start contains all the micro and macro elements necessary for young plants to develop strong and healthy.
With CANNA Start and all CANNA nutrients, we can offer you a complete programme for the growth and development of your plants from start to finish!
Instructions for use CANNA START:
All in one product. CANNA Start is a complete mono-nutrient, which means that all the elements the plant needs are contained in one bottle.
CANNA Start works perfectly with each of the other products in the CANNA line. For example, once your cuttings are transplanted into the final growth medium, simply switch to one of the CANNA nutrients (EARTH, COCO, HYDRO or AQUA) for the vegetative phase. CANNA Start is even more effective when used together with CANNA RHIZOTONIC: these two products, used in combination, will ensure strong and robust roots.
Reduces the risk of ove-fertilisation. Newly hatched seedlings and cuttings have different nutrient requirements than already developed plants. A normal nutrient for the vegetative phase is not recommended for plants at this early stage as it may put you at risk of overefertilisation.
It reduces the risk of leaf yellowing. Diluting the nutrient for the vegetative phase to make it more suitable for cuttings or newly sprouted seedlings is not the best solution: the resulting diluted nutrient solution will not contain the right amount of macro and micro elements needed. Leaf yellowing, even in young plants, is not the best of starts! In order to obtain strong, healthy plants at the end of the cultivation cycle, you must make the best start from the very beginning by giving the plants only the nutrients they really need.
