AgriLeca is the ideal substrate for use in hydroponics and as a draining agent; the minimal salinity released ensures the inertia of the substrate, a primary condition for the proper functioning of the system. It is also light and easy to handle, has moderate water retention and excellent air porosity; the shape and size of the granules are such that they "bind" well and thus ensure good support for the plants, even tall and heavy ones.
Non-bafferized product.
Technical characteristics: - controlled pH between 6 and 7
- granulometry 8-20 mm
Before use :
- It is important to carefully rinse the pellets to remove any residues in them.
- It is also preferable to always check their pH: place a few balls in a glass of water with a pH adjusted to 6.0, let them soak for an hour and then measure.
If the pH is higher than 7.0, soak them overnight in a solution of phosphoric or nitric acid (or pH Down, liquid or powder).
Then rinse them carefully and use them.
After harvesting: - In general, it is sufficient to wash them carefully. - If necessary, in case of disease or infestation, it is advisable to sterilise them by immersing them in a strong acid (pH Down), then rinse them thoroughly.
