Bio Nova's P 20 is a phosphorus deficiency agent. In the first weeks of flowering, plants need a lot of phosphorus, which helps them develop flowers and fruit. Phosphorus plays an important role in the formation of energy carriers and DNA, and is indispensable for sugar metabolism and the formation of cell membranes. Plants directly absorb all food minerals, ensuring optimum crop control.

Tips from Bionova growers
- If plants show symptoms of phosphorus (P) deficiency such as: short, purple-reddish petioles, short root system without root hairs, dark brown spots on the leaves and slow growth/flowering. Apply Bionova P20 to the cultivation to recover plants from this nutritional deficiency.
- Phosphorus is important for providing the necessary energy used by the plant's metabolism to absorb and synthesise important molecules. Every single reaction within a plant cell depends on the use of phosphorus as an energy source in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
- To prepare a customised feeding programme: using Bionova's mononutrient P20 you can decide exactly how much phosphorus to give your crop.
- Increase the dosage of P20 one week before the flowering phase to stimulate rapid flower induction.
- Mono nutrients can be used for outdoor cultivation. After checking the soil and (irrigation) water, Bionova mononutrient adjusts the nutrients to ensure sufficient available nutrients.
