Light-Mix® Peat Free is designed to offer gardeners, growers and horticultural professionals an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional peat-based substrates while still providing control over their plants.
It kick-starts vital microactivity as water works with the soil, producing organic catalysts that rapidly develop root structures. This ensures that the roots have access to both air and water, which is crucial for robust plant growth.
How is it used?
By using Light-Mix® Peat Free it is possible to apply higher doses of nutrients to any type of plant, including those that consume large amounts of nutrients, without the risk of overloading the soil and causing nutrient burn, indicated by yellowing and crispy leaf tips.

The ingredients of this sustainable growing substrate are carefully selected to emulate the beneficial properties of peat, such as lightness, aeration and water retention.
Light-Mix® Peat Free is composed entirely of renewable and sustainable materials with a blend containing components such as coconut fibre, wood fibre, composted bark, miscanthus, perlite and other organic materials.
