Rich soil is important for the organic cultivation of plants. Bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms decompose organic material and convert it into plant nutrients.The greater and more varied the supply of bacteria and fungi in the soil, the better the plants will grow. This has a direct effect on plant health and yield. Rich soil also not only provides nutrients for the plants, but also produces antibiotics and vitamins.
Compost tea is a mixture of chlorine-free water at room temperature, compost and various other ingredients rich in microorganisms that are also found in the soil.
The tea enriches the soil tremendously and is therefore an important tool for organic growers. The compost tea is aerated for 24-36 hours. During the aeration phase, other ingredients can be added to the tea. Through aeration, microorganisms multiply in the liquid.
PK BOOSTER COMPOST TEA makes life easier for growers and is specifically for fast-growing annual plants. The package consists of a rich and potent compost with a healthy mixture of active microorganisms (predominantly bacteria), bat guano and a number of other specially selected ingredients.
Also in the package is a unique blend of bacteria that release phosphorous (P) and mobilise potassium (K).
These bacteria provide your plants with a large dose of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) - a true PK supplement!
The addition of ORGATREX as nutrient for the bacteria, together with aeration, causes an explosive multiplication of microorganisms in the compost tea. Biotabs PK Booster compost tea is the recipe for a perfect compost tea for fast-growing annual plants, with an optimal composition developed through practical tests over many years.
How to use it:
Prepare the compost tea according to the instructions shortly before using it. Air the mixture for 24-36 hours. You can store the tea for a maximum of four hours. Use only good-quality, chlorine-free water.
Chlorine kills microorganisms. If you only have water with chlorine, you must aerate the water for a few hours. By actively aerating the water, the chlorine evaporates. Only add the ingredients to the compost tea after 2 hours of aeration. Your tea becomes even more effective if you add one teaspoon (per 5 litres of tea) of MYCOTREX (mycorrhiza mushrooms) half an hour before you stop fermenting it.
It is necessary to use an aerator with a porous stone.
