MICOSAT CCS

CCS Aosta S.r.l., fondata nel 1991, è una società privata di ricerca e produzione di microrganismi per l'agricoltura, attraverso l'impiego di micorrize e batteri della rizosfera. Con il termine rizosfera si indica la zona di contatto tra la radice ed il terreno che la circonda; classicamente viene divisa in tre zone: l'endorizosfera che si estende dalla superficie della radice ai primi strati cellulari interni; il rizoplano che identifica la superficie esterna della radice; l'ectorizosfera che rappresenta la porzione di terreno a contatto con la radice e che può avere dimensioni variabili a seconda del tipo di pianta e delle varie componenti microbiche presenti nel terreno (Killham 1994).

E' stato calcolato che il 20% delle sostanze prodotte dalla pianta con la fotosintesi clorofilliana viene veicolato nella radice, secreto come essudati radicali ed utilizzato per nutrire il consorzio microbiologico della radice stessa
